Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is designed to measure the verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills of the aspirants for reputed business & management schools across the globe. Today more than 6,000 graduate management programs around the world use GMAT scores as a part of their admissions process. Formulation of the test is in such a manner that it manages to churn out the best talent by the arduous testing procedure which is quite unconventional in nature. It tests the aspirants primarily on reasoning and comprehension skills. It does not focus on subject-specific testing methodologies. The US-based Pearson VUE under the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is the main body behind the GMAT development.

The body is responsible for conducting tests at its various testing centers globally & dispatching of the results to the examinees. GMAT is administered throughout the year.A minimum of 15 days in advance registration is mandatory. Eligibility criteria is very flexible in age & educational aspect for aspirants. Test scores are considered valid for five years by most universities. An unofficial score report with Verbal, Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning and Total scores is made available immediately after exam. Students receive an email with a URL to access score report within 20 days of exam. This email contains a link with instructions to access Official Score Report online.

The student has the provision to report his scores to a maximum of five universities of his choice & the costs are met while paying the GMAT test fee itself. Though, he has to sincerely do the homework of zeroing in the final five prior to his exams which will ultimately receive his result copies.
